Australia has finalised a deal with New Zealand to resettle refugees in the offshore detention system. Moves have been underway since 20-13, when New Zealand first offered to take asylum seekers who’d arrived to Australia by boat.

Home Affairs Minister Karen Andrews has announced 150 refugees per year for three years will be resettled in New Zealand.
