A gunman on a motorcycle has killed five people after opening fire on a crowd just east of Tel Aviv. It is the third incident of its kind in the country within a week. Both US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and UN chief Antonio Guterres have condemned it as a terrorist attack.

A gunman has killed at least five people in Bnei Brak, an ultra-Orthodox suburb of the Israeli city Tel Aviv on Tuesday, before being shot dead. “We unfortunately have to note that five people have died,” Eli Bin, the head of the Magen David Adom emergency responders, said.
