In an extraordinary move, the US Attorney-General, Merrick Garland, has moved to unseal confidential details from the FBI’s search of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.

On the back of outrage from the former president and his supporters, the justice department has asked for the search warrant to be made public, with reports emerging that the FBI was searching for classified documents related to nuclear weapons.
