Russia intends taking three more Ukrainian regions

The Moscow-installed Governor of the Kherson region, one of four regions Russia annexed, says the army intends to take three more Ukrainian regions after repelling the current Ukrainian offensive. The confident rhetoric came as the Kremlin’s Ministry of Defence reported it had so far managed to maintain existing frontlines in the face of a Ukrainian offensive to retake territory in Kherson. Kherson City is the only regional capital that Russia controls, of all the territory it annexed last month.
