The visit was part of a serious effort by both sides to get China-U.S. relations back on track. What is the latest about this critically important bilateral relationship? How has it evolved over the past years? What are the hopes for improvement in the future?

Guests in this episode are Professor John Gong from the University of International Business & Economics, Benoit Hardy-Chartrand, adjunct professor of political science and international affairs at Temple University in Japan, and Harvey Dzodin, senior fellow at the Center for China and Globalization.
