The founder of Russia’s Wagner mercenary group says his fighters have nearly surrounded the eastern Ukrainian city of Bakhmut. He appeared in a video urging President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to pull his troops out of the area. Residents have also started to leave their homes ahead of a possible Russian advance.
